The night sky

Timelapse from a night shooting the Horsehead Nebula, telescope at the bottom right

Away from the keyboard I photograph deep-sky objects from a heavily light-polluted city sky (Bortle 9); one target took 25 hours of exposure across a season. My images are published on AstroBin and DeepSkyHosting, where M27 and the Heart Nebula were shown among popular photos on the front page. I was a finalist of the Nauka TV channel photo contest in 2024 and 2025, and at 35AWARDS 2026 I made the top 5% in astrophotography. I run a Telegram channel with 215+ subscribers and a YouTube channel where I teach beginners to process images shot in light-polluted cities.
